Have you tried the new hand cream from Caudalie?

In the beginning of August, I found those new hand cream from Caudalie when I was browsing feelunique.com. I already had the original hand cream from the brand which smells of Grapefruit, but I wanted to try these out just because I am a Caudalie junkie.

Caudalie Hand and Nail Cream Blackcurrant Leaf £6.00

It has Blackcurrant and Bergamot which create this feminine scent. It's not too heavy or overpowering but is a winter scent in my opinion. The scent changes after 10-15 minutes, and it becomes a little big heavier. I smell sunscreen somehow but of course it doesn't have SPF so it's just my nose that is messed up.

Caudalie Hand and Nail Cream Grapevine Honey £6.00

This is more like a herbal scent with a hint of honey. It smells sweet but fresh at the same time. I was expecting this scent is heavier than the Blackcurrant one, but actually it's lighter and more herbal and natural. But the scent lingers on my hands for a long time, which is always a good thing :)

The texture of the hand cream is very light. I don't get dry hands anyway so I use it to enjoy the scent mainly. It leaves my hands so silky without making them greasy because it contains polymer which works almost the same as silicone, that makes the skin surface smooth.

I love using a hand cream right before a work meeting instead of spraying a perfume, because sometimes perfume can be overpowering, and what if the person you are about to have a meeting with hates the scent? You would create a hell for that person! On the other hand, hand cream doesn't smell too much (usually) and they only can smell it when you give a handshake or walk by. If you are looking for hand cream which has an elegant and sophisticated scent, you should give these a go!

My Skincare Routine - Summer edition

It's not a long time ago when I talked about my skincare routine, but I thought to show you what I've been using lately since I have new items that I've been loving!

Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser is my favourite cleanser. I don't know if the cleanser itself is amazing or the muslin cloth does the magic, but either way I really enjoy using this cleanser. I am aware that it takes all my makeup off including my eyeliners and mascara, but I avoid using it around my eyes just because it's not contact lens friendly. I feel the difference instantly when I use this cleanser which I love the most about it.

Another cleanser I love at the moment is Yuu Cleansing Balm. This is a contact-lens-friendly cleanser unlike Liz Earle one, which means that I can use this cleanser to remove all my makeup off without using Bioderma to take of my eye makeup off. It doesn't make my skin greasy but leaves this moisturising feel to it. It has this amazing scent of Yuzu which I really love, I seriously think Yuzu is the best scent!

Alba Organics Hawaiian Facial Toner is the toner I use daily. It has tropical flower and fruits extract, and enzyme to balance pH level. It smells of herbs and bargamot essential oil but the scent is very subtle. It calms and nourish my skin. It doesn't do anything special like making my skin surprisingly soft or brighter, but at the same time it doesn't irritate my skin at all. I don't think I will repurchase it but I don't hate it, it's an all-right toner.

Nourish Protect Replenishing Peptide Serum  is "an ultra-intensive blend to lock in moisture and guard against dryness made with peptides to firm and smoothen the skin, combating fine lines", according to feelunique.com. I am very impressed with this, it's such an effective serum to hydrate my dry skin. It makes my skin softer and smoother, you should try this out if you haven't since you will feel the difference instantly on the next morning!

I've been loving Caudalie Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet this summer. I got it a few months ago when I relised my other moisturisers were too heavy. Although it's made for dry and sensitive skin, it's not heavy or sticky at all. It sinks into my skin very quickly and leaves my skin surface smooth and silky without stickiness. It's perfect in the morning and night. Oh, and it smells divine like the other caudalie skincare items.

I don't particularly like Good Things BRIGHT EYES EYE CREAM but it moisturises my eye areas which is good enough for now. In winter I will definitely need much thicker heavier eye cream though. I'm on the hunt for a good eye cream, let me know what your favourite is!

More than a year ago, I was suffering from an unexplained skin problems such as redness and spots. But after Aveda all sensitive moisturiser cured it all, my skin has been in a very good state. I hardly get a pimple lately, and my skin has been so smooth. My only concern is the pores on my cheeks, I'm trying hard to make them small. If you know any good toner or moisturiser to shrink them, let me know!

Products I will / have repurchase(d).

I've been surrounded by beauty products especially since I started my Japanese blog a few years ago. I've tried more than 200 products sent from PR companies, and of course I've bought many products myself too. But there are not so many products I have repurchased. Or that I'm sure I will repurchase. Today I'm going to talk about the products I really really love.

Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micelle Solution
I had a small travel-size bottle which I took about 6 months to use up. I wrote my thoughts about the product HERE before so I'm not going to ramble about it here but there is nothing like this product. It never burns my eyes or irritates my skin. I didn't like the smell at the beginning but now I'm completely used to it and don't notice any smell even. It's such a gentle makeup remover!

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser
You can read my detailed review about this amazing cleanser HERE. When I used up the first bottle, I was so sad and decided to buy as many bottles as I can next time I would go to the U.K.. And I did. I bought two of the 200ml tubes with two of their toner and one jar of their cream. Also my sister in law gave me the tiny tube of the cleanser and recently she's sent me 100ml bottle as well. I don't know how and when I would be able to finish them all but now I feel secure. Their cleanser is not something I use every single day but I use it at least 2-3 times a week. It makes my skin feel so soft and smooth that nothing else does. I also love the herbal scent.

Pangea Organics Facial Mask
I wrote a full review of this product HERE last year, I apologise for the blurry photos. Apparently you cannot buy it from Vitacost anymore which sucks because it was much cheaper on Vitacost. Hopefully it will be back in stock someday soon. This face mask is just amazing. It doesn't have a pleasant scent but it does its job. This mask was the first one I'd felt a huge difference on my skin immediately. If you haven't tried it before, try it. Buy it. You won't regret.

It's a 10 Miracle Leave In Conditioner plus Keratin
This is what I'm going to repurchase once I've finished the current bottle. As I mentioned HERE before, this is such a great leave-in conditioner which makes my hair soft and silky. Although my hair is now much healthier as I chopped 20cm of it last month, still my hair tends to get tangled easily. I spray this leave-in conditioner focusing on the ends before blow-drying. It doesn't weigh down my hair at all but definitely makes them much more manageable and less frizzy. Also it smells heavenly.

Caudalie Divine Oil
This oil is just Divine as it claims. It's such a beautiful product that I don't want to live without. First of all it smells so good. I cannot describe how good it smells but it's one of the best smelling products I've ever used. Secondly it's such a light oil which doesn't make my skin greasy or oily at all, even in summer. It sinks into my skin quickly while leaving this heavenly scent like perfume. Now they've come out with the body scrub and tanning-lotion, and I'm dying to try them out. Let me know how they are if you've tried them!

Caudalie Vinotherapie Vine Peach Shower Gel

Caudalie Vinotherapie Vine Peach Shower Gel £8.10

This is my 3rd shower gel from Caudalie I have used. I really loved the other two although they didn't foam much and irritated me during a shower, because they both smelled amazing. There are 4 different shower gels and I decided to try them all after the good experience with the first two.

This shower get is described as below on feelunique;

Enriched with aloe vera, Caudalie Vinotherapie Vine Peach Shower Gel is a soap-free shower gel with a gentle plant-based cleansing formula that respects the skin's physiological pH balance. Its delicious fragrance combines the softness of vine peach and a hint of almond milk with an invigorating splash of fresh mint leaf.

Who doesn't want to try it out after reading this description? I immediately added it to basket without hesitation! The blend of peach, almond milk and fresh mint sounds so good.

When I sniffed this shower gel I was a little bit disappointed as it smelled of fresh peach without hints of any other scents such as almond milk and fresh mint as it's described. I like the scent but I don't love it because I wanted the scent to be a little more complicated than it is. It's too obvious and boring in a way.

Now there is only one scent left to try out, then I will judge my favourite scent of their shower gel.

If you have never tried any of their shower gel, I recommend Caudalie Trio Shower Collection £12.60  to try out. It's got 3 shower gel in smaller tubes which is perfect for a gift or for yourself to pick your favourite scent. I don't know why it excludes the peach one but definitely this set is the best way to start with.

Have you used their shower gel? Which one is your favourite?

October Favoruites

I know it's the middle of November but I made an effort to take photos of my October Favourites, so I'm going to write about them!

Liz Earle Cleanse&Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser  (full review)
I am totally in love with this cleanser. It works, it smells good and it makes my skin so soft and smooth like a baby's. I use this cleanser with the muslin cloth about 3 times a week. It's tempting to use it every day but I try not to because I'm not sure if it's true or not but I have heard that we Asian have thinner skin than other races so we shouldn't exfoliate our skin as much. Also if you exfoliate every day, your skin cells get removed before the skin underneath is strong enough, and that could cause sensitivity. Anyway I love this cleanser so much, and since I started using this product my skin has been in a very good condition.

balance me rose otto Body Cream  (full review)
There's no reason to complain about this product. It moisturizes my skin perfectly, smells so gorgeous and I love the packaging. balance me is definitely one of my favourite beauty brands. The best part of this body cream is that it doesn't make my palms greasy after applying it on my body. I hated and forgot to put moisturizer on my body before I discovered this product, but now I can't wait to put this good-smelling body cream every night before bed.

Caudalie Divine Oil  (full review)
Love love love this oil. Usually I apply this oil on my arms, neck and hair to enjoy the scent. I cannot describe the smell but it's something like a mixture of floral and vanilla type of sweet scent if that makes sense. It's so addictive and I really love this scent in the winter air. The oil is very light and it sinks in very quickly which is perfect for a busy morning because I don't have to wait to put clothes on!

Sunshine Spa Bath & Body Oil (full review)
I pour a few drops of this bath oil into my bathtub when I feel the need of relaxation. It smells incredible, I don't care the fact that the oil makes the whole bathroom slippery. It smells of lavender, chamomile, bargamot and sandalwood which is truly relaxing. You can use it as a shower oil or body oil if you wish, I strongly recommend this oil if you're having a stressful life!

balance me wonder eye cream (full review) Another balance me product I was loving in October. This eye cream is so light yet moisturizing, so I can use it in the morning as well as night time. It moisturize my skin without making it greasy as it sinks in very quickly. I love the herbal scent too.

Macadamia Healing Oil Treatment
I haven't done a full review of this product yet, but I will definitely do it very soon. I've been using this for about 3 weeks now and whenever I apply this oil, my hair becomes so silky. I've got fine hair and it gets tangled which is horrible -sometimes I tear my tangled hair accidentally- but this oil prevents tangle and that is amazing! It also smells really nice, like a musky vanilla type of scent which reminds me of some male perfume.

Aveda Eye Color Trio in Sea Grass (full review)
I use this eyeshadow palette every day. I haven't figured out how to use the black colour as I have been into brown eyeshadows rather than black recently. But the other two colours are my daily essentials for sure. The pink one is perfect for the base on my eyelids, it creates the even skin tone which is like a clean canvas! I use the brown colour to contour and sometimes on my eyebrows.

Revlon Color Burst Lip Butter (full review)
I wear Peach Parfait nearly every day to work. It's such a pretty colour, which is not too bright and not too nude. This colour makes my whole face look fresh and healthy!! I am very busy at work and don't have time to look into a mirror and fix my makeup, so I like the fact that I don't need a lip brush and a mirror to apply this lipstick, instead I can just apply it as if it's a lip balm and it looks fine!

Thanks for reading, it became such a long post...sorry! Hope you enjoyed it :)

Caudalie Winter Rescue Duo

Caudalie Winter Rescue Duo 7.20GBP

As I mentioned before, I have really sensitive lips and when I use lip balm which doesn't match my lips, they get chapped hard and start bleeding because of dryness. This lip balm by Caudalie really really nourishes and hydrates my lips and I immediately repurchased when I finished my 1st one.

This time, I got this Winter Rescue Duo because the lip balm itself costs 4.95 pounds and it's only 2.25 pounds more and has got this miniature hand cream with it! I always wanted to try their hand cream and thought this small one would be ideal to keep in my handbag.

The consistency of this hand cream is perfect. It's not too thick and not too loose, yet doesn't make my hands greasy at all. I use a computer for more than 10 hours a day at work, and having a greasy hand to hold my mouse is the last thing I want. It moisturizes my hands without being heavy which I really like! Apparently it contains the grape extract which is beneficial for your skin, also shea butter and avocado oil moisturize your hands.

I'm not going to go on and on about the lip balm but I really really recommend this to those who's got chapped lips that nothing can repair. Because this one can! I am sure I will repurchase it when I run out of this one.

Over all this little bag of winter rescues is very satisfying. Both hand cream and lip balm are true winter essentials. If you're interested in the lip balm, I recommend this set so that you can enjoy the hand cream as well!

Here's a little thing I want to share, I'm banned from wearing contact lenses because of my allergy (did I have an allergy? really?) and my glasses give me a headache. It makes it really hard to blog because  I cannot see ANYTHING without contact lenses or glasses. Especially looking at the computer screen makes my head pounding so I have to stay away from blogging for about a week or two :( Still I will blog a bit but maybe not every day like I have been.

Anyway, thanks for stopping by and read my blog, oh and I put the links to all of my pages like Twitter, Instagram and yes I finally made my Facebook page, so have a look if you're interested! :)

October Empties!

This is the time of the month to talk about empties again! In October I used up quite a lot of products considering the fact I am a slow-user. I am going through the products I used up quickly now!

Rahua Shampoo and Conditioner

Rahua is an american haircare brand which came to Japan at the end of last year I think. Their products are pretty expensive, these are 3900yen and 4200yen, and their hair oil which I don't own costs 18900yen for 30ml botttle. Ridiculous!

But trust me, this is the best harecare products I've ever used. They contain a plant oil called rahua oil and that seems to be the key ingredient. It makes my hair unbelievably soft and silky, like it's never been. They smell weird but I just don't care because the result is absolutely amazing.

I'm very sad that I've used them up. I was given them as PR samples from a Japanese company and just loved them so much but don't think I would spend about 8000yen on haircare products. Not that I don't want to but I can't! I strongly recommend rahua if you are interested, it's so amazing.

...Oh and I apologize for the dirty bottles, I washed them but wasn't able to make them crystal clear.

moemoe Spa Treatment

Can you believe this pair of small tubes costs about 1000yen? These are hair treatment tubes for an intensive haircare. They smell amazing, like fruity floral clean scent if that makes sense. You apply tube No.1 treatment mainly at the end of your hair after wash, then apply tube No.2 treatment on top, leave it for 5 minutes and rinse. It does make my hair soft and moisturized I guess but at the same time it makes my hair flat. I liked this product but I wouldn't buy it myself.

These are sent by Zanka from Zanka talks cosmetics, and it was fun to choose which one to use depending on my skin condition and mood!

The honey one was a peel-off facial mask which I had never experienced, and it smelled just like honey!! I was like "Oh my gosh it does smell like honey and I feel like I'm Winnie-the-Pooh!" It felt a bit tingly on my skin but didn't make my skin red or irritated. I think it contains pretty high level of alcohol and maybe that is why. I really enjoyed how it worked and the smell of course, and it made my skin feel clean.

The avocado one smelled lovely too. It didn't smell of avocado and I cannot describe the scent but I liked it very much. This one tingled my skin as well but again it didn't affect my skin. Maybe it was because this facial mask is supposed to stimulate my skin, I cannot tell if it did to be honest but I really liked the smell. And the packaging is so pretty!

Caudalie Grape Water

It only lasted less than a month I guess but I can't blame it as it's only a 75ml bottle which is tiny! I used it as lotion after washing my face every morning and night. It doesn't have any smell in it and it doesn't hydrate skin too much but it was a nice product. I think it's good for summer to carry it around to refresh.

L'OREAL Paris ELSEVE Damage Care Pro

It's hair treatment in a spray bottle which you use in the shower. Basically you spray this mainly at the end of your hair after wash and rinse it off. You don't have to wait for 5 minutes to rinse as the oil sinks in quickly. It smells amazing and it does work. I will miss this product.

Caudalie Lip Conditioner

This lipbalm is one of the best ones I've ever used. I love the subtle smell of vanilla, and the matte finish it gives, and of course the fact that it moisturizes my often-chapped-lips! It really works and I actually repurchased this item recently! I recommend this lipbalm to anyone who's suffering from chapped lips.

I am not sure if I would use up more products in November as I finished quite a lot of products in October, but I will write about my empties when I have enough products to talk about for sure!

My Skincare Routine - Morning

Today I would like to share my morning skincare routine! Hope you enjoy :)

Shigeta Awakening Radiance Mousse

I wrote the full review here if you're interested. Shigeta is a Japanese brand which was actually launched in France first. They only use natural and organic ingredients and are against animal testing. This cleansing foam contains fragrant rose water and rose essential oil which give a heavenly scent to it. It comes out as foam so it's very easy to cleanse your face and I just like to use it in the morning because it doesn't remove makeup and also the scent is perfect to awake my skin.

Caudalie Grape Water
This is basically just water. It's fragrance free 100% grape water. Apparently grape water is good for your skin but to be honest I haven't noticed any difference since I started using it. I just like to spritzing this fine mist after I wash my face to refresh.

Aveda all sensitive moisturizer  34GBP
I'm not going to talk about how amazing this product is here as I've written enough already before, basically I cannot live without this product. The end.

Weleda Wild Rose Smoothing Day Cream 13.95GBP
I received this product from lovely Zanka from Zanka talks cosmetics, and I've been loving it so much. It's the perfect day cream which is light and yet moisturizing, with this amazing rosy scent. It moisturizes my skin just enough and I love it!

Devita Solar Protective Moisturizer SPF 30   $14.15
Read full review here! I love this creamy texture so much, it's easy to spread and feels like it gives a thin veil over my face to protect it from the sun. But recently I realized that my waterproof eyeliner transfers to my eyelid when I put this cream on my eyelid. So if you're considering getting this cream avoid your eye area otherwise it ruins your makeup! And the reason why I use Weleda's cream before this one is because it dries out my skin a little in this colder season. It might be too light for dry skin.

Balance Me Wonder Eye Cream 20GBP
Full review is here.  This is my favourite eye cream ever! I love the pump because I don't have to scoop using a spatula like I used to do. The pump bottle makes it much easier to apply eye cream a few times a day. This cream is perfect under the makeup because it's very light-textured and does sink in quickly. It makes the skin around the eye area very smooth which prevents a concealer to get cakey. I also love the lovely scent in the morning :)

What are your morning skincare essentials?

Caudalie Devine Oil

Caudalie Divine Oil    25 GBP

I first got to know about this oil on essiebutton  and  ghostparties, two of the most famous beauty blogs. Both Estee and Kate said they loved the oil, and from what they said about it I knew I would love this oil. But I hesitated to buy it because it was pricey, but luckily I was able to get a few pounds discount on lookfantastic.com somehow.

I put the link of the product page on feelunique above because lookfantastic didn't have the same discount offer anymore, and I personally like feelunique more than lookfantastic because they are quicker to ship the products than another.

On feelunique it says..." Caudalie Divine Oil offers everything you need to make your skin positively exquisite. This multi-use miracle oil is also great for your hair, your nails, your bath and massages", basically you can use it on every part of your body. I remember Kate from ghostparties mentioned that she was using this oil on her face as well.

First of all, I love the packaging. How classy and beautiful is this bottle!! And I love the idea that it's in a spray bottle because it's obviously much easier to apply on your hair and body. Although the spray is quite direct, I think it's because the oil is heavy so it cannot be misty.

It contains grape oil, extra virgin argan oil, extra virgin hibiscus oil, sesame oil and shea butter to moisturize your skin.

I spray this oil on my arms and legs to prevent dry skin, and on the tip of my hair before blow-drying. It really does make my skin so soft and smooth, and smells AMAZING. I cannot even describe the scent, but according to feelunique this smells is the blend of moroccan rose, bulgarian rose, grapefruit, pink pepper, whilst cedar, vanilla and white mask. It does smell floral for sure but the base with vanilla and white mask is making this scent very mature and sophisticated, instead of a simple floral scent.

I'm addicted to this product now, I just cannot leave my house without smelling of this oil! Unfortunately the scent doesn't last long, and the bottle is too heavy and big to carry around. I wish they had a smaller size so that I can put it in my bag and reapply it during daytime. It prevents dry skin very well without making my skin greasy or oily. I think I've been using this for about 2 weeks now and my skin hasn't been in a better state.

I strongly recommend this oil if you're looking for a body oil. I'm not a big fan of floral and vanilla scents to be honest but this one is totally different from all the scent I'd known before!

Have you ever used this product? What did you think?

My September Favourites!

First of all, I'm sorry about the picture as it's a bit blur. I used my mother's camera this time and took quite a nice picture, but when I edited using Illustrator -I wish I had Photoshop- the picture became blur like this. I'm not a professional so I have no idea why but well, it's not the end of the world.

So I'm going to go through the products -from left- quickly!

1) Caudalie Zeste De Vigne Shower Gel : I finished the purple one called "Thé Des Vignes" the other day, and I loved that one so much. I thought of putting Thé Des Vignes in here as my favoruite item of the month, but this orange one is also very nice so I pick this one as my favourite. It smells zesty and fresh, it's perfect for a morning shower. It doesn't foam much and that's kind of annoying but the scent is amazing. I recommend this shower gel strongly if you haven't tried it yet.

2) Caudalie Gentle Cleanser : I LOVE this cleanser. Basically it's milky cleanser which you can use in both morning and night. I don't use toner to remove my makeup but this one takes everything off including my eyeliners, eyeshadows, foundation and mascara. It's gentle and moisturizing, which is perfect for my dry skin. Smells so clean and nice, I love love love this cleanser. I might repurchase it when it runs out.

3) Caudalie Beauty Elixir : I'm not going to talk about it anymore as you might get fed up but I'm going to repurchase it soon. I wish they had a bigger bottle like 500ml, I'm sure there is demand.

4) NEOM Real Luxury Organic Body Scrub : A very nice sugar scrub, could be the best one I've ever used. It makes my skin so soft and hydrated, and the scent is heavenly. I pair it with the body lotion in the same scent, it makes me so happy.

5) Pangea Organics Facial Mask : The best facial mask ever. It was 22% off on Vitacost, I will definitely repurchase it soon as my mum and I have used a half of it within a month. It stinks and looks gross but it does what it says on the package. "DOES EVERYTHING". If you want a baby-like-skin, get this mask. This makes it happen!

6) Jason Facial Wash and Scrub Apricot Scrubble : Usually I only use a facial scrub once a week or one in two weeks even as my skin is a bit sensitive, but I use this one twice a week. I just can't help it because it makes my skin so smooth. It's a gentle scrub so you can use it every day if you want, but I try not to use it more than twice a week because I heard too much scrub can be a cause of a skin breakout. This scrub smells very nice, and the apricot oil is very hydrating without making my skin feel greasy or oily. One of the best facial scrubs for sure. And also it's 43% off on Vitacost!

I hope you enjoyed it!
What was your favourite item in September?

September Empties!

As I enjoy reading and watching empties posts / videos so much, I thought to give it a try! But the problem is that I think I'm quite slow to use beauty products, I don't finish cosmetics often. In September I finished these 4 products which is quite rare. I know it's not as many as other bloggers but hope you enjoy it!

The first product I would like to talk about is Caudalie Thé Des Vignes Shower Gel. This is the BEST shower gel I've ever used in my entire life! The only thing I didn't like about this product was foaming. I had to apply about a table spoon of this shower gel on my bath lily and still it didn't foam much. That was a bit stressful but still the scent was AMAZING. And it leaves the clean and feminine / sexy scent on my skin which was really nice. I am definitely going to repurchase it!! It's about 8 pounds on feelunique, I put the link above.

Another product I've finished using this month is A'kin Pure Rose Hydrating Mist. I got this product more than 6 months ago. I really liked the scent which is rosy and a bit herbal, a very natural scent of plants. It's very light mist which is suitable for dry / sensitive skin like mine. The mist is quite fine which felt really good on my skin. I left it in the bathroom area and I just sprayed it all over my face right after washing my face, then I applied a facial mask or moved on to the next step after coming back to my room. I don't think I'll repurchase it soon because now I'm so in love with Caudalie Beauty Elixir!

This one is actually my 2nd bottle. DEUXER is a Japanese haircare brand. I don't think it's so popular yet but I just love love love the scent. I cannot describe it but it's said "Floral Berries" on the official website. Well, I don't agree but if they say so it must be floral berries! Anyway, this emulsion is for permed hair to make this bouncy but not greasy or hard-setted curls. It creates a very natural and effortless beachy look which I adore. Also it smells amazing.

The last product I've used up this month is Lily Lolo Mineral Foundation in "Blondie".  It lasted for more than 2 years!!! That's amazing isn't it? I used it 5-6 days a week!! Oh, the reason I don't have an individual photo is because the package was quite dirty and I thought nobody would like to see it close up! This was my first mineral foundation, and I absolutely loved it. It covers pores perfectly and it doesn't come off all day. And also it doesn't dry out my skin even in winter. Of course I need concealer to cover dark circles and blemishes because the foundation itself is very light, but the best part is that it looks very natural on my skin. It looks as if my natural skin tone is even and smooth! And it's only about 13 pounds...MUST HAVE!

Sorry I didn't have many products, hope I can finish more in October!

My current skincare routine -Night

Today I'm going to talk (write?) about my night skincare routine.
These items are the ones I use every day. My skin is quite dry and sensitive, but recently I feel my nose is a bit more oily than before, so I try not to put too much cream around the area.

And i just realized that I seem to have forgotten to include my cleanser here. So let me skip the cleanser for now. (I know, what type of post is this?)

1) After I wash my face with a cleanser, which I will talk about another time, I spritz Caudalie Beauty Elixir. This is my 2nd bottle, and I absolutely love this product. I have to admit that I thought the smell was too strong at the beginning and it bothered me a bit, but now I cannot live without it! The only negative part is that it's expensive. And I finish this big bottle within 1.5 months roughly, that means I have to spend more than 200 pounds a year for this lotion. That's ridiculous!! I need to find a cheaper lotion, please let me know if you have any recommendation.

2) Then  I apply Aveda All Sensitive Moisturiser. This item is another one that I cannot live without (my full review is here). I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for a moisturizer which makes you relax and feel happy, because it's quite boring -the packaging is not pretty, and it doesn't smell good particularly. But if you're suffering from continuous breakouts or blemishes,  try this one. It works.

3) Here is my favourite eye cream! Skin Blossom Organic Eye Cream. I got it from Planet Organic in Notting Hill. The official website says "Revive and restore skin around eyes with this moisturising antioxidant cream containing a special blend of Green Tea, Eyebright and Buckwheat extract. Made with 85% organic ingredients and certified to the strict Soil Association organic skin care standards, also vegan products registered. The gentle formulation of this organic eye cream make it suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin."

And guess how much it was? It was only 4.95 pounds. I got it without any hesitation. And it lasts quite long, because I've been using this since the beginning of June. I cannot tell how much is left because of the white bottle but I guess it'll last a couple more weeks.

Since I met this cream, my dark circles are gone. And my skin around my eyes are hydrated and it doesn't make a foundation or concealer cakey. It doesn't smell good either though, but that means it's suitable for those with sensitive skin as it doesn't contain any essential oils.

4) This is optional, but when my skin feels dry I add this oil at the end of my routine. This is a pure Argan oil (full review here) which you can use on your face, body and hair. It doesn't contain any essential oils in it either but it smells fruity / nutty which is the natural smell of Argan oil. I love it because it sinks in very quickly and doesn't make my face all greasy. Such a light but moisturizing oil, I love love love this. You can purchase from here if you're in Japan, not sure about international postage.

Well, I sometimes add a face mask and a facial scrub into the routine, so I will write about my special care soon! Hope you enjoy, and let me know what you think!
